It doesn&#x2019;t make sense for you to just take the pain&#x2026;..cause all you do frustrate the brain, till eventually it snaps.Nervous breakdowns&#x2026; feeling like you mentally collapsedbecause the remedy you lack to apply.Not cigarettes, the fluid in the back of your eyes, that you neglected to releaseso how can one expect to be at peace &#x2026;.when Life seems hectic and the grief elevates,and can&#x2019;t find you a method for relief.It&#x2019;s not like you accepted a defeat, if you shed a tearinstead of fear, it brings serenity until your head is clearSo if your bed is near, just climb in it and make a standtake command of your feelings and break the dam. Analysis on &#x201C;Ok 2 Cry&#x201D; Tears can be a natural and healthy way to release emotions and find solace during overwhelming times. Crying has been found to reduce stress by releasing feel-good hormones called endorphins. These hormones can help alleviate feelings of tension, anxiety, and sadness, promoting a sense of calmness and well-being. Allowing yourself to cry is an act of self-compassion and shows that you are giving yourself permission to feel and process your emotions, which is an important part of the healing process. It&#x2019;s important to create a safe and supportive environment for yourself, free from judgment, where you can freely express your emotions. Witnessing one of my younger siblings experience a breakdown was my first encounter of seeing a person snap. We were both carpooling to our place of employment, but before we reached the car, he screamed as if in agony and started crying. I was stunned as I held him firmly and constantly questioning what&#x2019;s wrong, as he vented and painfully conveyed his woes which involved academic pressure and current relationship issues. It was scary how no warning signs were indicated of stress build up until it was time to explode. Due to emotional overload, I was compelled to do the driving while he relaxed to process his emotions before reaching our destination. Later that evening while still at work, he expressed to me his embarrassment towards his previous behavior, as I instantly replied that there was nothing to be ashamed of and it was ok to cry, thus becoming the pivotal moment and inspiration to write this poem. Although this verse highlights the process of crying, the focal point centers around the importance of managing emotional build-up and finding effective ways to release stress. It is indeed crucial for our overall well-being to acknowledge and address our emotional pain or damage instead of pretending it doesn&#x2019;t exist. Suppressing emotions or denying our hurt can have long-term consequences on our mental and emotional health.
