“Ok 2 Cry”-by Jasmine Sent

Intro:

It’s okay to cry.
Tears don’t weaken you—they free you.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is let the weight fall from your eyes so your heart can breathe again.”

Verse 1:

It seems emotional build up’s pumping inside
but nothing but pride is in affect like you got something to hide
So this lesson, I’m inclined to teach this
please.. whoever said expression was a sign of weakness?
It doesn’t make sense for you to just take the pain…..
cause all you do frustrate the brain,
till eventually it snaps
Nervous break downs… feeling like you mentally collapsed
cuz the remedy you lack to apply……not cigarettes,
the fluid in the back of ya eyes, that you neglected to release
so how can one expect to be at peace ….when
life seems hectic and the grief elevates and can’t find you a method for relief
It’s not like you accepted a defeat, if you shed a tear
instead of fear, it brings serenity until your head is clear
So if your bed is near, just climb in it and make a stand
take command of your feelings and break the dam

Chorus:
It’s ok to cry
It’s ok to cry

Verse 2:

No one’s immune, cause even thugs when the beer pops…
is pouring out sips to replace the drips of the tear drops
Even when friends die tragically,……
he’s still hesitating to moisten his eye cavity,
He’s too hard- or should I say foolish…..
how he got his body fluids trying to defy gravity
That’s why rapidly his thoughts go astray, acting insane
so today twisted thoughts remain trapped in his brain
Doing stress crimes, till he ends up wrapped in the chains
and damn that is shame, how he couldn’t keep his grip….
Just so you don’t increase the risk
Try to meditate, helping your mind to elevate from this deep abyss
Cause honestly, God gave emotion for reason
don’t you believe in “Men don’t cry” cause quotes are deceiving.
So I strongly recommend the route….
towards the path for tranquility to end the drought.

Chorus:

It’s ok to cry
It’s ok to cry
Ain’t no shame in showing your pain.

[Bridge]

(Cry) Go ahead cry ’til the pain stops
(Cry) Come on cry, let the rains drop
You won’t die if the rains drop
I’m by your side ’til the pain stops.

(Cry) Go ahead cry ’til the pain stops
(Cry) Come on cry, let the rains drop
You won’t die if the rains drop
I’m by your side ’til the pain stops.

There’s no need to dry your eyes

[Outro] “Remember… it’s okay to cry.
Tears don’t weaken you—they free you.
Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is let the weight fall from your eyes so your heart can breathe again.”
