LYRICS
Intro]
“Not everything presented as truth is meant to inform you.
Some things are designed to distract you.
That’s the smoke screen.”
[Verse 1]
We need better vision to uncloak schemes,
hopes seems to be placed in false prophets…
which gradually draws toxic reality to minds like dope fiends
from a remote scene, I spread wind to clear the smog.
It’s a sheer mirage…
in religion, some men adhere to jobs of a righteous minister
which in this instance, is a mere facade.
And I swear it’s odd how in fear of God
sheep never focus to question Shepherd’s motives.
Until led to cliff edges, by then it’s too late
these die-hard church members cry when the News breaks.
The truth makes people lose faith
after seeing footage of children in lewd takes, recorded on nude tapes.
So now ain’t this a bitter-
taste of reality, how a holy paint in a picture, starts to peel.
Only to reveal a saint is a sinner
just cuz they preach, don’t mean they practice every word placed in the scripture.
Through scheme devised……opposing forces are quickly demonized
realize, even the wise can deceive the eyes.
Take life with a grain of salt….
don’t let your brain get caught by tricks, derailing your train of thought.
[Chorus]
Smoke screen—
truth gets blurry in the haze.
What they’re presenting isn’t real,
it’s a game of displays.
Smoke screen—
Something in the air,
is blocking clarity
so nothing’s ever what it seems.
[Verse 2]
We need sharper senses for detecting deceit (deceit)
when consent’s dissected through selective belief.
Hope gets injected through clinical jargon,
while long-term effects get lost in statistical margins.
Doctors don’t invest in cures, only treatment plans.
healing isn’t profitable when sickness competes with brands.
I peep the scam and it’s quite wrong
when lifelong customers seem to matter more than establish cures.
White coats speak in decimals, minimize the test risks,
while symptoms get renamed once the side effects hit.
So read labels with suspicion,
the cost of dependence could be fatal when prescriptions is enabling decisions.
Don’t confuse trust with truth,
succumbing to substitutes rather than options for natural remedies must compute.
Public health being a market is the topic in this rhyme.
the smoke screen is engineered and profit by design.
[Chorus]
Smoke screen—
truth gets blurry in the haze.
What they’re presenting isn’t real,
it’s a game of displays.
Smoke screen—
Something in the air,
is blocking clarity
so nothing’s ever what it seems.
[Outro]
The lesson wasn’t fear.
It was awareness.
Everything else is choice.
Once you see it…
you can’t unsee it.
Stay alert.
